Daniel F. 'D. F.' Loney, Jr. of Hosford passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in Tallahassee at the age of 84. He was born June 20, 1926 to the late Daniel F., Sr. and Mary Missouri (Sykes) Loney. He was self-employed as a logging contractor and was a veteran of the U. S. Army 4th Armory Division who fought in World War II. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erika.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Frank Loney and his wife, Cindy of Crawfordville, Florida; a daughter, Carol D. Wooten and her husband, Perry of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Blue Creek Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET, Friday, June 3 at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol.
