Ray Neal Smith of Blountstown passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 70. He was born July 3, 1941 to the late Fred and Evelyn Marie (Brogdon) Smith in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a retired machinist at St. Joe Paper Company and was a member of Blountstown American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eilleen Smith.
He is survived by his companion, Beverly O'Bryan of Bristol; a son, Rex Norman Smith and his companion, Norma Martinez of Blountstown; two daughters, Rayleen D. Anderson of Chipley, Florida and Kelley Michelle Middleton of Blountstown; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5 at Adams Funeral Home.
