Obituary of Gloria Adkins

Gloria Rebecca Bennett, age 46, of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home. She was a homemaker and lovingly known by her grandchildren as Granty. She lived most of her life between Calhoun, Gulf and Taylor counties. Preceding her in death was a brother, Jimmy Dale Adkins. She was survived by her husband, Dewy C. Bennett of Norfolk, Virginia; four daughters, Renadale Adkins and her fiancé, Justin Miller of Wewahitchka, Jamie Adkins of Bristol, Florida, Kasey Adkins of Perry, Florida, and Hannah McCall and her husband, Josh of New York; grandchildren, Kalyne, Makayla, Vidalia, Browning, and one unborn grandchild; her parents, William Adkins of Mayo, Florida and her mother, Dorothy "Meemaw" Tucker of Perry; two brothers, Boyd Adkins of Perry and Billy Joe Adkins of Kinard, Florida; two sisters, Bonita Johnson of Perry and Patience Johnson of Wewahitchka; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Memorialization will be by cremation.
