Obituary of Myrtice Beck

Myrtice Faye Beck, 83 of Telogia, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her home. Myrtice was born in Hosford, October 16, 1936 to the late W.J. Beck and Maggie (Kyle) Beck. She was a homemaker and a member of the Telogia Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her husband A.W. “Buddy” Beck; her parents W.J and Maggie (Kyle) Beck; her brothers, Ray Ellis and Satchel Coleman; sisters Nima Lou Wingate and Jean Pullam; a grandchild, April Katina Beck; great grandchildren, Destiny and Melanie Craig and her first born child that was still born. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Beck of Telogia and Billy Beck and his wife Patty also of Telogia; her daughters, Marlene Beck, Darlene Harris and her husband Tommy and Polly Beck all of Telogia; her brother, Lloyd Ellis of Bristol; her sister Janice Egan of Bristol; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Services to honor and to celebrate Myrtice’s life will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Telogia Assembly of God Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Interment will follow in the Lake mystic Cemetery in Bristol. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
