Obituary of Blake Parley Shuler

Blake Parley Shuler, 20 of Bristol, passed away November 29, 2020. Blake was born March 24, 2000 in Tallahassee, Florida to Parley S. Shuler III and Mary Jonette Baker Shuler. Blake was a lifelong resident of Bristol where he attended Liberty County Schools and was part of the graduating class of 2019. While attending school he enjoyed playing football and baseball. Blake was an experienced outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He participated in many fishing tournaments and often brought home the prize money and trophies. He spent many days hunting deer and squirrels and truly loved the outdoors and nature. He was an expert hunting dog trainer and was passionate about training and running his dogs. He loved Liberty county, his home, and the natural resources it offers with rivers, lakes, ponds, many acres of forest lands and abundant wildlife. Blake is preceded in death by his great grandmother Ethealle Bozeman Shuler and grandfathers Jerry Wade Shuler, Tommy Varnum, and John Baker. Survivors include his parents Parley S. Shuler III of Bristol and Mary Jonette Baker Shuler of Quincy; his sister Nikki Lee Shuler and her companion Jakob Bradwell of Bristol; paternal grandparents Ruby Lee Varnum and her companion Willie Mitchell of Bristol; maternal grandparents Hilda Pippin and her husband Charles Pippin of Quincy and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Services to celebrate Blake’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. est, Thursday December 3, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with a time of visitation beginning at 1 pm est.
