Obituary of James Hyatt

James Danny Hyatt, 73 of Riverview, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Tampa. James was born in Chipley, Florida September 17, 1947 to the late James David Hyatt and Loray Merritt Odom. Danny was a retired mechanic for Ford Motor Company and was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam era. Survivors include his wife Teresa Hyatt of Riverview, Florida; his sons, Chris Hyatt and his wife Megan of Sumatra and Ken Starling of Tallahassee; his daughter, Carrie Starling of Riverview; a brother, Gary Hyatt of Tallahassee; a sister Carolyn Yvonne Roddenberry and her husband James of Bristol; his grandchildren, Alexis, Brandon, Kenison Starling and Madyson Starling, James Reed Hyatt and Aubrey Loray Hyatt; two great grandchildren, Keegan and Westlyn; many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Services to honor and to celebrate Danny’s life will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Bristol Church of God with Reverend Terry Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Hosford Cemetery with full military honors. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
