Mary Florence Goodwin, 88 of Altha, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home. Mary was born in Ocoee, Florida, October 23, 1932, to the late William Thomas Chapman and Willie (Turner) Chapman. She retired to Calhoun County in 1993 and was a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Goodwin; her children Bobby Goodwin and Debbie Brewer and a grandchild Melissa Brewer. Survivors include her daughter Connie Madrigal of Malone; her grandchildren, Gloria Dedios and her husband Ivan, Tammy Hedlund and her husband David, and David Madrigal; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Thaxton, Jordan and Lillian Baggett, Dylan Mills, Aaliayah Madrigal, Makayla Hedlund, Taylor Brewer, Baylee and Cortney Pulley and her great great grandchildren, Devin and Brenly. Services to honor Mary’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Poplar Head Baptist Church with Reverend Phillip Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery in Clarksville. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.
