Lizza Ann Nelson, 79 of Sumatra, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home. Ann was born in Kinard, Florida October 1, 1941 to the late Fred Daniels and Lela (Gray) Daniels. Ann graduated from the Assembly of God Ministerial Association and was a long-time pastor at Sumatra Assembly of God. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Connie Lemieux and her sister Rosie Mae McClain. Survivors include her husband Eric Donald Nelson of Sumatra; her son, Eric Daniel Nelson of Sumatra; a daughter, Rachel Lyn Bledsoe of Williamsburg, Virginia; sisters, Ellen Sandsbury of Panama City and Shirley Creamer of Apalachicola; her grandchildren Thomas, Patricia, Trevor, Erick, Daniel and Karisa; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services to honor and to celebrate Ann’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Sumatra Assembly of God with Ray Creamer officiating. Interment will follow in Sumatra Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
