Geraldine Bodiford, 84 of Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her home. Geraldine was born in Kinder, Louisiana, January 4, 1937, to the late William Shoemake and Molly Langley Shoemake. She was a medical assistant with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and a homemaker.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Shelby Shoemake.
Survivors include her son Roger Bodiford of Tallahassee; a daughter, Cheryl Becotte and her husband Paul of Tallahassee; a sister, Hester Adel Barfield of Lake Talquin; her grandchildren, Roger Dale Bodiford, Jessica Bellinger, Brandon and Waylon Thompson and his wife Shahn; her great grandchildren, Logan Bellinger, Brayden, Blaine, Daisy and Becket Thompson, Cooper Bodiford and James Brooks and a daughter in law Anna Hall and step grandchild Donavan Hall.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2020 at Blue Creek Cemetery with Reverend Darreyl Duggar officiating.
