Maude V. McNeil, 79 of Sumatra, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, in Panama City. Maude was born in Port St Joe June 11, 1942, to the late William Franklin McQuagge and Beatrice Christine Sizemore McQuagge and worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She is preceded in death by her son Darrell McNeil; a stepson Ted McNeil; a daughter, Christa McNeil; her brothers Willie Charles McQuagge and John Franklin McQuagge. Survivors include her son, Willie McNeil and his wife Carol of Greenhead; a stepson, Ed McNeil and his wife Jean of Bear Creek; her brother, William Carlton McQuagge and his wife Patty of Cairo, Georgia; a sister Frances Jean Hill of Sumatra; a grandchild Selena Divoll and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her. Serving as pallbearers are Mark Roberson, Nathan Roberson, Chase Roberson, Lane Bauton, Ron Mills, Carlton McQuagge. Services to honor and to celebrate Maude’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. EST Monday at Sumatra Cemetery in Sumatra. A time of visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST Monday at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
