Erma T. Coley of Blountstown passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Tallahassee. Erma was born in Blountstown, November 4, 1945, to the late Lewis and Pearl Tyre and had lived in Calhoun County most of her life and was a social worker.
Other than her parents Erma is also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Kaye Coley and her brothers, Aaron and Dean Tyre.
Survivors include her sons, Paul Coley and his wife Donna of Tallahassee and Charles Coley and his wife Maritza of Blountstown; her brothers, Larry Tyre and his wife Paula of Michigan and Bob Tyre and his wife Linda of Las Vegas, Nevada; her sisters, Beverly Singer of Gainesville and Marilyn Tyre of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jordan McKinney and husband Josh, Clint Coley, Cassie Coley, Harrison Coley and wife Gigi, Sofia Ridley and husband Jaxon and Bella Coley; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Raelyn and Tavish.
Services to honor and to celebrate Erma’s life will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Sunny Hill Cemetery near Altha. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 Saturday morning prior to services.
