Obituary of Billie C Bryant

Billie C. Bryant, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Arcadia, Florida. Billie was born April 27, 1921 in Grand Ridge, Florida. He moved to Arcadia twenty-five years ago and worked in the sod industry for more than forty years as an equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. Billie was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Survivors include four sons, Curtis Bryant of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jay Bryant and Alvin Bryant of Arcadia, and Earl Bryant of Clewiston, Florida; five daughters, Barbara Johannson of St. Augustine, Florida, Vergi Jozwick and Wanda Gilmore of Davie, Florida, Patricia McDowell Tellico of Plains, Tennessee, and Carol Sairkowitz of St. Augustine; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Bryant of Davie and two sisters, Agnes Jeter of Panama City, Florida and Geneva Welles of Plant City, Florida. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16 in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time (10:00-11:00 a.m.) at the funeral home. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
