Mildred Agnes Cain Dickson was born October 20, 1928 in Calhoun County and passed away May 3, 2013. She was a graduate of Blountstown High School and was a nurse for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alec and Claudia (Pope) Cain; her husband Block Dickson; her only child, Norman Richard Dickson and her great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Reilly; and four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her four grandchildren, Ricky (Amanda) Dickson, Sarah Reilly, Jennifer Dickson and Katie Dickson; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Taylor, Blake, River, and Chase. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Armatine Cain and Earlene Cain, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 5 in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home with Dr. Ernie Gray officiating with visitation at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment followed in Nettle Ridge Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Phone 850-674-5449. Online condolences may be made at adamsfh.com.
