Obituary of Jerry Lee Money

Jerry Lee Money, age 77, of Bristol, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida. Jerry was born in Bristol, lived in Tallahassee from 1968 to 1998, then moved back to Bristol. He played football for University of Florida for a short time then served in the United States Army for three years. After serving in the military he attended Chipola Jr. College in Marianna, Florida. He was a member of Bristol First Baptist Church; a member of the Tallahassee Elks Club, and a member of The Capital Chordsmen (a Tallahassee Barbershop group). He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Ruth Money; father, Coleman R. Money; his mother, Mary Dell Tanner; and a son, Donald Money. He is survived by two sons, Garland Money and Gregory Duane Money; two grandsons, Eric and Allen Money and one granddaughter, Mary Katherine Money. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. ET, Saturday, August 17 at Bristol First Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Phillips officiating. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
