Donald Roger Venne passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at his home in Fountain at the age of 80. He was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts and lived in Fountain for the past eight years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean conflict and was a member of AMVETS and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eva (Couture) Venne.
Survivors include children, Donald W. Venne and his wife, Sandra of Ludlow, Massachusetts, Francis Venne and his wife, Deborah of Grandby, Massachusetts, Russell Venne and his wife, Deborah of Ludlow, Donna Douville and her husband, James of Springfield, Massachusetts, Mark Venne, Gary Venne and David Venne all of Ludlow; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great- grandchildren; a brother, Ronald; and five sisters, Evelyn, Rita, Judy, Carolyn, and Arlene.
No services are planned at this time; memorialization will be by cremation.
