Obituary of Charles Ray Neel

Charles Ray Neel, age 64, of Bristol, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home. Charles was born in Chattahoochee, Florida, February 24, 1950 to the late Charley Ryals and Esther (Hewett) Neel. Charles served in the United States Army and after military service he was a truck driver. He was a member of Lake Mystic Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, machine repair, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He never met a stranger. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Teresa (Peddie) Neel of Bristol; his son, Jason Ray Neel and his wife, Jennifer of Denver, Colorado; his step-son, Alan Harrell of Tallahassee, Florida; his daughter, Kristin Cummings and her husband, Ernie of Grand Ridge, Florida; six grandchildren; his brother, Michael Neel of Grand Ridge; and two sisters, Linda Fears, also of Grand Ridge, and Brenda Rowan of Groveland, Florida. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET, Friday, May 2, 2014 at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, May 3 at Lake Mystic Baptist Church in Bristol with Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating. Interment will follow in Cow Pen Pond Cemetery in Dellwood, Florida. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Phone is 674-5449 and you may offer the family condolences at adamsfh.com.
