Zachary Ryan Segers, age 19, of Altha, Florida, passed away January 23, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. Zachary was born in Donalsonville, Georgia and was a 2010 graduate of Blountstown High School and was in the process of enlisting in the U. S. Air Force. Zachary enjoyed playing football, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and Monica Segers of Altha; maternal grandmother, Helen Maloy; paternal grandfather, Clyde Segers; uncles, Byron Segers, Matthew Maloy and Steve Woodward; and aunts, Donna Woodward, Lisa Segers and Dawn Greene. He is also survived by cousins, Misty and Pierre Wesslehoeft, Hillary and Domenic Cairoli, Pazia Segers, Joshua Segers, Samantha Maloy, Daniel Maloy and Lacey Woodward.
Services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2010 at Altha Church of God with Reverend Allan Nichols officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
