Obituary of Betty Geneva Roberson

Betty J. Roberson of Tallahassee passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 after an extended illness at her home at the age of 85. She was born in Bunnell, Florida June 1, 1925 to the late James R. and Agnes (Deen) Williams. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cypress Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Roberson and a brother, Norman Williams.
She is survived by daughters, Donna Hopkins of Tallahassee and Jean Ming of Marianna; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., ET, Saturday, May 21, 2011 in Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Linda Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery in Clarksville. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., ET, Friday, May 20 at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.
Flowers are welcome but should friends desire, memorials may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32308-5428.
